Is Red Wine or White Wine Better for You?

For some reason, I held the notion that drinking any alcohol was not good for your health. I realized it, when someone asked me to use a pendulum to check bottles of red and white wine.

As a matter of fact, I was expecting the pendulum movement to go counterclockwise on any alcoholic beverage. By the way, counterclockwise movement with my pendulum means non beneficial.

I checked a few wines at Sprouts using my pendulum.

What I saw gave me a new perspective.  Some of the wines tested had good vibrations while others did not. That was an eye-opening moment for me.

I posted a video on Youtube. You may want to check out Is Red Wine or White Wine Better for You? The wines I tested with my pendulum were:

1. La Crema Chardonnay 2018
2. Green Fin White Table Wine 2017 made with organic grapes
3. Tisdale Chardonnay
4. 19 Crimes Shiraz 2019

Wines in general are associated with a range of benefits for your health. Of course, like anything, when they are consumed in moderation. If you do not drink alcohol, there is no reason to start.

Again, is red wine or white wine better for you?

Researchers seem to associate wine health benefits with the grape compounds. These compounds are said to protect against carcinogens. And they also may help prevent heart disease.

I think that a key benefit of enjoying a glass of wine is good mental health.

Moderation or balance is key to anything in life. Keep in mind that excess of anything is harmful. The key is balance.

Which Wine Is Healthy?

You probably know that the skin of most fruits and vegetables are generally higher in antioxidants, fiber, vitamins and minerals.

With that in mind, red wine is usually seen as the healthier option.

Research shows that the dark-skinned of grapes contains more antioxidants than green grapes. And their skin is included in fermentation while white wine does not use the skin of grapes.

I actually do not know if red wine or white wine is healthiest. Oftentimes, marketing plays a huge role in what we consume.

Is a Glass of Wine a Day Good for You?

Centenarians from some of the blue zones regions of the world may drink up to two glasses of wine every day. Apparently, drinking wine helps them relax from the stressors of daily life.  That makes sense, right?

Consuming wine in moderation may help explain the lower levels of stress among centenarian men. And many of them drink a glass or two of red wine daily.

People in all blue zones (except Adventists) drink alcohol regularly and in moderation.

I found interesting that the moderate drinkers seem to outlive non-drinkers. It may have to do with mental health. It becomes a social thing, drinking with friends, family and around food.

If you do not drink alcohol, there is no reason to start.

Is Red Wine or White Wine Better for You?

What is the healthiest wine to drink? Honestly, I don’t know.

That being said, cannonau wine is a red wine made on the island of Sardinia, Italy. This is one of the blue zone areas or places with most healthy centenarians.

This particular wine is made from the Grenache grape. And, it is usually dry and high in antioxidant properties.

I wonder how a pendulum would react when placed over cannonau wine. Hummm.

A trip to the store to check out cannonau wine seems like a good idea.

What Is The Worst Cheap Wine?

It is hard to say what is the worst cheap wine.

Two-Buck Chuck wine is considered cheap. Once, at Trader Joe’s, I placed my pendulum over this wine.

Not to my surprise, my pendulum moved counterclockwise over this particular wine. It moved with lots of speed creating a large vortex. This type of movement is definitely a red flag.

Counterclockwise means the opposite of clockwise. It means potentially unhealthy for you.

What is in this cheap wine that may be possibly harmful to your health? I can’t say for sure but it is cheap for a reason.

Is it bad to drink cheap wine? Maybe you can do a search on google and find out yourself.

Using a pendulum is a fantastic way to know what is or is not good for your health and well-being. It is particularly helpful when you are trying something new.
